Some people think kink should have less presence during Pride because it's not family friendly, as people would like their kids to participate and learn inclusivity without the exposure to sexually explicit material or acts, while others believe policing sexual expression or kink is the opposite of what Pride is about so back off, prudes.

Personally, I think the issue is that Pride is a mix of both celebratory events like a Santa Claus Parade (a wish to secularize a fun family happy event of the summer) and a political event that you should not expect to be toned down (much like you wouldn't expect a Slut Walk to be a "family friendly" event).

I am more on the side of.. it not yet being the right time for it to be so secularized into an event without teeth. Maybe when the whole conversion therapy and hate crimes and anti-lgbt legislation stuff is no longer a big thing, we can revisit the modesty and respectability concerns.

Though I guess there will be some sex-repulsed people (including those in the LGBT+ crowd) and those more sensitive about exposing children to sexual material who would argue differently.

When going to Pride as a parent, it’s pretty easy to be part of the atmosphere and explain what’s going on and why to my kid as much as I can while glossing over anything that’s not really suitable or harder to interpret for very young kids. She mostly likes the colours and the upbeat atmosphere

If they weren’t prancing around like a bunch of degenerate animals there would be less revulsion at their lifestyle. Are there even gay hate crimes anymore, besides in their heads or people not “fully accepting their lifestyle”?

There were 3790 “hate crimes” against asian Americans last year and the majority were committed against women and seniors. One was attacked in their store and one beaten in the street what race do you think are committing these crimes that are being labeled “hate crimes”

And 3 in 10 Americans believe Asians spread coronavirus and its all white people attacking them and who believe that lol.

And if you do the math it’s roughly 0.001 percent of the population that has had a “hate crime” committed against them. It’s not even news worthy but we got to get the minorities back on board with our globalist agenda everyone is refusing.

They lost so much support amongst minorities in the last election, there’s no way they won or can win in the future. That’s why they’re so desperate to pass that voting rights bill to cheat since states have tightened up voting rules like providing an ID that you need for everything except to vote because that’s “disenfranchisement”.
