What could possibly go wrong? Also, only use local-only IOT stuff that you have full control over.

From the post:

>The Department of Homeland Security bought a dog-like robot that it has modified with an "antenna array" that gives law enforcement the ability to overload people's home networks in an attempt to disable any internet of things devices they have, according to the transcript of a speech given by a DHS official at a border security conference for cops obtained by 404 Media. The DHS has also built an "Internet of Things" house to train officers on how to raid homes that suspects may have "booby trapped" using smart home devices, the official said.

Just use air pressure and plastic tubing to connect your booby trap devices together. A fully analog electromechanical system can't be jammed by RF/EMF attacks. Keep it old school and you can be sure it will be able to work when you need it to.

Analog ftw? What new list does that put everyone on now... No sir, I just am a fan of very old pinball machines.

Analog ftw? What new list does that put everyone on now... No sir, I just am a fan of very old pinball machines.

The same list Uncle Ted was on. He was a fan of handcrafted analog "items".

Why turn the power off when you can launder millions of dollars?

I hope this toy works on 433Mhz, can jam zigbee, LoRa, IR and dozens of other IoT frequencies.

I actually find this hilarious as military tactics become ever more complex requiring complex infrastructure in order to work. They could have simply shut the building's power off. But no, they'd rather build an overly complex toy. LOL.
