Tried reading the first book, but I just couldn't get into it.
It didn't really get interesting to me until I was about 100 or so pages in. He basically writes each chapter about a single person then later revisits them. I wouldn't have bothered reading them at all if I knew I'd never get an ending.

Meh…I enjoyed the story I read. I’ve moved on and read numerous interesting other books since then. I’m glad I read what I did, though.
Honestly, at this point I hope he doesn’t finish it. He’s moved so far to the left, his original story would likely follow the same path. What could’ve been an interesting and worthwhile book to read would now turn into a she woman feminist wet dream.
