Jimmy Carter's policies enabled the craft beer revolution. He deserves more credit than he gets, in my opinion. He's also probably the least psychopathic living president. I can forgive the "put on a sweater," and, "lusted in my heart," for the dude who allowed Samuel Adams to shake up the beer world and didn't create covid vaccines. I imagine if you look historically, the Carter inflation was less than any recent president's not-inflation - this is just a suspicion.

I do not blame Jimmy Carter for IPA. He deregulated the beer industry such that brewers can also distribute their own product. There is speculation that it was for his brother's "Billy," beer, but I care not.
