American tipping culture is kind of fucked really. At the same time.. This guy still got a 25% tip on the order. Sure, if he has a POS car and that 5$ barely covered gas that really sucks.. But you have other job options too.

Tipping used to be a bonus. Seriously. It was expected if your service was not bad. But employers didn’t factor it into the livability of your hourly wage. Then it has slipped to what it is now.

Yeah, having worked for a time in a "tipped" job the employer basically gets to pay you almost nothing and expects the customer tips to pay you. I would much rather have no tipping at all and have set wages with a higher service cost. I've tipped a minimal amount even for bad service because of that.

I no longer use anything attached to tipping. Burn it all down.

Tipping culture used to represent a feeling of receiving exceptional service - jewish magic money system killed actual money, making it fiat, and this entitlement is result.

Hmmmm. Learn to code? Better: get into an apprenticeship, learn a trade, live within your means, pay your dues, experience upward mobility by dint of your own effort.
