Yeah but does the hardwiring for raising children extend to more socialist principles? Most simple way I heard it put is traditionally (like when we were still living in forests and caves) it was men’s role to obtain resources (food) and women’s role to ensure those resources were appropriately distributed. When you extend that hardwiring to politics for the extremely large and complex societies we now have maybe it does lend itself to the “fairer distribution of resources” philosophies that underpin most left wing philosophies.
