It wasn't supposed to be funny, it was supposed to indirectly show her interest in him. And because she is an inexperienced kid, thats why it sounded like it did. Unless a girl who likes you is getting wet every time she sees you, you're not often going to have her flat out tell you that. I find it pretty weird people are judging kids who are new to this stuff. You should kick your baby too for not doing acrobatics already while you're at it.
