Honestly just bite the bullet and buy a kitchen aid. I did 15 years ago and it still works great. Even if I didn't use it to blend, pulse, puree, kneade the way it's primarily designed for (which I do) the cutting and dicing attachments alone make it worth it. Haven't diced a veg or shredded cheese by hand in a decade and a half.
Oddly enough my wife has one, and many of the attachments. Problem is that the kitchen is very small and poorly designed. Once I revamp the kitchen it can come out, but until then.
