I have just been letting my sourdough go through the bulk fermentation process in the mixing bowl. It is always kind of hit and miss trying to figure out how much it has increased in size.

I like my dough to rise 1.75 to 2 times and this bowl makes it so easy. No more guessing or just kinda eyeballing it.

I highly recommend getting a proofing container.

It is a Cambro 2qt. I got it on Amazon, but I also saw them at Costco the other day. It's just the 2 quart size and it's perfect for a single loaf of bread.

I use them mostly for pizza dough.
