What you got?
Do some mass shooters have mental illnesses? You bet (in the cases where they actually happened).
Do some drugs exacerbate some mental illnesses? Yes.
Is this a wide spread and common problem? No.
The number of Americans who say they've taken an antidepressant over the past month rose by 65 percent between 1999 and 2014, a new government survey finds.
By 2014, about one in every eight Americans over the age of 12 reported recent antidepressant use, according to a report released Tuesday from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Based on a population of 325M, that means over 40M people were on antidepressants in 2014.
They are using this shooting just like the Sandy Hook to push documenting and control over every facet of a person's life who has the misfortune to seek help for things like stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression from deaths within the family, etc. And then they will use that as a reason to disarm the population. Your mom used antidepressants while she was pregnant with you, you have family history of mental illness, you can not own a gun. Your brother is taking anxiety medicines in college which means you're more at risk of having mental issues, you can not own a gun. Your spouse took antidepressants due to a death in the family, you can't have a gun in the household. Your daughter was raped and suffers PTSD and takes antidepressant for it, no gun in the household allowed.
YOU ARE VOTING FOR MORE BIG BROTHER with the support of the idea that it's mental health at fault for any shooting.
Every person is responsible for themselves. In cases where they're drugged, coaxed and set up MK ultra style by the government, it's not fully the shooter's fault.
I do not think that pharmaceuticals are the answer in most cases, I do think they're over prescribed, I do think they're addictive chemically while often making the users more miserable over time. But we can not deny that there are many people that have been helped by them even in spite of frequent poorly educated doctors handing out drugs like candy after insisting you're (depressed, anxious, schizo, PTSD, etc) based off a presumptive and leading five minute doctor's visit. And we can absolutely say, without a doubt, that we do not need any more government over sight within the lives of the US citizens.
I'm going to use the attention that this may draw to also state that the government and doctors know without a doubt that MANY of the mental issues that the population suffers comes directly from a lack of nutrition. Even if you think you're getting enough, often times you're not because much of the food we eat contain ingredients that prevent the body from absorbing one nutrient or another. Nutrition is extremely complicated when you take it from mother nature's hands. Most people rarely eat a meal that doesn't have at least one component that is premade, whether it's bread, a box of mac and cheese for a side item, canned veggies... You can eat well most of the time and still be affected. Take the time for your health's sake if you are a regular sufferer of any kind of discomfort and investigate. This can be sudden onset of allergies after a certain age to headaches regularly, overly emotional to unmotivated, muscle twitches to odd skin issues. Damn near everything we see go wrong especially as we age is because of nutrition! ESPECIALLY mental health!
