so here is my conspiracy theory. What would you do if you were expecting a lot of people to be dying in the future but didn't want it to be easily noticed? Well you wouldn't want to cremate them or you would run into the same problem the holocaust thing runs into, of having numbers too big to say they were all cremated within a certain time frame and those machines are expensive, and people would notice when all of them were running 24/7. You can't bury them either cause it would fill graveyards up too fast and leave evidence of millions of headstones with the same year on them.
But what you can do, is put people in a box that emits no gasses, doesn't take energy or a cremator, and when it's all over there is no space taken up by a body. Clean, cheap, easily hidden, No mass graves needed. Just a warehouse if you really need one and one that can't be viewed from a drone outside or found or dug up later.

Bones can be ground up into bonemeal or just dealt with in whatever time scale is convenient. The big problem this solves is people being able to see the spike in how a surge of dead bodies are dealt with. It's the time issue it fixes.
