It’s because they make a freaking mess. Don’t get me wrong, I have fruit and nut bearing trees, but for city purposes? Not optimum.

I will keep the non fruit bearing trees around. Redwoods, willows, oaks, elms, and cyprus look pretty damn cool. Not to mention the great wood choices that come from them.

Its because falling fruit cause dents in cars.
