Within capitalism we were encouraged to move away from our families for awesome jobs with the big corporation or whatever. It really just damage the support system of white people. Adult kids grew distant from the older generation. Old people got dumped in nursing homes. Women became less likely to have kids because of less support from birth families. I think the destruction of the extended family has led to this and many other problems.
