Pretty much everything you read about in the news, back before the Internet, was real. Back in the day, there were real journalists working for real news networks, and they screened out the lies, most of them. They kept a few UFO reports for laughs, but nobody took them seriously.

Today, we have the unchecked spread of bullshit, and most of it is spread by the fake news networks and fake journalists, who are only concerned with promoting a narrative, not with finding the truth. I pity kids who grew up with the Internet, because they have no idea what it was like to trust the news.

Back in the day, the government lied to us some of the time -- Gulf of Tonkin, for example -- but the news media tried to give us the facts. That is no longer the case. Today, the news media tries to hide the facts, and it never tells the truth.

The problem with radiation after a nuclear blast has been greatly exaggerated by the media. Most of what people think they know about radiation is false. Look at Chernobyl. It's a wildlife paradise. The animals are laughing at radiation.

The Soviet Union hasn't shown it, it was a military secret. Only recently, Russia has released the films about the test. The bomb was too big to be useful in a war because it was too heavy to be mounted on a missile, and a bomber could almost not escape its blast.
