Firing artillery from a battleship, there is no calculation for curvature... there would be. Just like pilots set their gyroscopes to a flat surface and aren’t required to alter their pitch constantly to keep from gradually gaining altitude.
if there was no gravity then they wouldnt have to set a pitch. gravity is the reason why they do it. the gravity is always pointing down, the curvature doesnt matter.
Gyroscopes lock to a flat plane. They don’t adjust for curve gradually after being set on the runway. It’s flat, you’ve been lied to.
