All you guys are wrong. The flat earth con is a master troll operation to see exactly how stupid and easily misled people can be. They are doing it for the laughs. Anytime the glowies feel a little down in the dumps they fire up the flat earth truther vlogs and have a good laugh.

No one in the middle ages thought the earth was flat, no one since prehistoric times has thought the earth was flat, so long ago people didn't even have the ability to scribble it on some cave walls.

Travel, ancient astrology/astronomy, certain fields of math altogether are dependent on the earth being round and it's circumference/arc lengths being exactly that; the characteristics of a sphere.

We were all told back "before we knew the earth was a sphere" that people would watch ships disappear over the horizon and the people watching on the shore would think the ships fell off the Earth. Fucking seriously? That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THOSE SAME SHIPS RETURNED TO PORT LATER?

"Omg we seen your ship fall off the Earth yesterday!"

"Wtf? Dude we went fishing. I'm standing right in front of you. We didn't fall off the earth, that's stupid."

[–] 2 pts

With binoculars or telescope, the hull of the ship is visible once more. It is all about perspective and the visual acuity of the observer, not going over a curve. No curve in Lake Michigan where Chicago skyline is clearly visible with the naked eye, even the bases of the buildings, over 60 miles away and viewing from the beach. This is inexplicable in your model.

[–] 3 pts

Really? So whip out your telescope and view Burj Khalifa from your porch. Better yet zoom past the Burj and focus tightly on that huge ice wall barrier of the earth you people claim exists. You can see celestial objects thousands and thousands and thousands of miles away with a telescope but you can't see Mt everest from the same location. Lmfao. Go troll some other simpleton

[–] 1 pt

There are obstacles and haze from clouds and condensation obstructing the line of sight, and moreover the light cannot be resolved at such distance (acuity). Our eyes cannot see things that are trillions of miles distant.

[–] 2 pts

To me, it initially seemed like an experiment in understanding how people know the truth about a commonly accepted idea regarding the fundamental nature of reality. How can you truly know anything that you have not observed and calculated yourself? How do people react when presented an idea that contradicts their understanding of what they have accepted as absolute truth? Most of the arguments for or against FE theory seem to depend on either accepting other people's observations, or questioning them. A lot of people engaged in the debate react with indignation, dogmatic skepticism, and a zealous belief that their side maintains the truth, rather than delving into an honest, deeper understanding of the principles involved in a search for the truth in whatever form it might actually take.

But the experiment went off the rails, and has since devolved into a mostly nonsensical slap fight between zealots. And in its current form, it does seem more like an operation to see how easy it is to mislead people like you're saying.

The best, probably most intelligent reply I've yet encountered here on this platform

All you guys are wrong. The flat earth con is a master troll operation to see exactly how stupid and easily misled people can be.

I thought the master troll was convincing everyone we lived on a sphere. After all, it helped them see which ones were loyal to God's teachings and who were occultists. Sort of the same thing it's doing now. Dividing us up further to get us infighting among other purposes I'm sure.

OR maybe you think the Earth is pear-shaped. LMFAO! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq7T2H6jwlg

[–] 0 pt

The only reference in the Bible that people confuse with Earth being flat is the whole "four corners of the Earth" line. And the heavens being held above the Earth by some firmament. Cardinal directions aren't exclusive to any shaped land mass. Who is to say firmament isn't gravity, dark energy, or dark matter? It's a weak lead to an assumption.

[–] 2 pts

Maybe you and others are the ones who think the phrase "four corners of the Earth" is not exactly what it says it means.

I have looked at the flat earth thing in-depth. Honestly, after considering the evidence put forth, I'm not sure that we do live on a ball-shaped chunk of rock.

See, this is the great thing about what America used to be. I'm allowed to think this way. I choose to question NASA and other agencies based on their words and actions in addition to evidence that others have found that says the opposite of what we're being told by said agencies. Instead of the media and public schools would broach such topics, they would actually be teaching critical thinking skills. Alas, nobody wants critical thinkers in society, so children and adults are taught to shut down critical thinkers and muzzle them. Don't worry though, the GLOBALISTS are vying for control and everyone who disagrees with them will go to a death camp.

Considering everything going on in the world, does it really matter what shape of rock we're living on?

[–] 5 pts

Exactly. And it is amazing what you can get people to believe if you say it in a whispered voice and pretend it is “conspiracy”. I was arguing with a flat-earthed at work about gravity, and he claimed that gravity didn’t exist. I then asked him to explain the the phenomenon of an object dropping to the floor when you release it from your hand. He said it was due to a difference in densities. You can’t make this shit up. My reply was “skip science class much, bro?” Look, I love this guy. At least he has the balls to stand up for what he believes in, but this flat-earth shit is giving the rest of us conspiracy tards a bad name. I might also mention that the proliferation of this theory is only possible in a postmodern world. There are entire generations that are just ruined because they are incapable of critical thought.

200% demoralized.

[–] 2 pts

I don’t understand why you would mock the coworker? Density is a Law and gravity is a theory. Aka Density is proven and Gravity is not.

All Flat Earthers used to be a Globalist just like you. Difference is we asked questions.

[–] 4 pts (edited )

Let’s just start with this statement:

Density is a Law and gravity is a theory.

It’s cool bro, we can work through this together. Density is a physical property of matter (not a law as you stated), and is an expression of the relationship between an object’s mass and volume. Gravity is a law (not a theory as you stated), which describes a force acting upon all mass and energy in the universe. There are several explanations as to why gravity works the way it does, and these are called “theories”.

Back to density...from Britannica.com:

“Mass, in physics, quantitative measure of inertia, a fundamental property of all matter. It is, in effect, the resistance that a body of matter offers to a change in its speed or position upon the application of a force. The greater the mass of a body, the smaller the change produced by an applied force.”

(italics are mine)

That force can be an external force being applied to the matter, such as a hoist lifting an engine block, and it can also be gravity. In fact everything here on earth is affected by gravity. Please note that gravity also has a direction - the force is always applied towards the object’s center of mass. This is why when you drop a ball, it travels to the ground instead of flying up into the air.

What the flat-earther is really describing when they speak of gravity in terms of different densities is actually “bouyancy”, and bouyancy is meaningless without a force being applied, in this case gravity.

Sorry brother, there’s no way to get around it without invoking gravity. I hope that explanation was sufficient, if any science nerds want to join in explain it better feel free...

[–] 1 pt

Density and bouancy are laws and explain why objects rise or fall. Gravity doesn’t exist, has never been proven and has largely been discredited even in academic circles.

The last vestiges of any legitimacy that Gravity has is that it’s still called a “theory” instead of a myth—or a fable which is all it is.

Again, it’s ok that you are a Globalist. I used to be a genius just like you and regurgitated all the NPc talking points like you just did.

Then I read up on “gravity” and saw that it was discredited and it was a weak theory that nobody even believes in anymore. That and much more evidence I read up on trying to discredit FE and I couldn’t.

Just because you are ignorant on a topic doesn’t make me wrong

[–] 1 pt

What do flat-earthers have to say about satellites?

[–] 0 pt

Satellites are just balloons and don’t spin around like we are told. The ISS (despite you seeing an object flying around In space) also doesn’t exist and nobody is living on it.

The “satellites don’t exist” was a hard one to believe at first because an acquaintance of mine launches “satellites” into “space”.

[–] 0 pt

Density isn't a law, It's an observation.

Losing respect for flat earth retards out here.

Keep outing yourselves guys, and tell us if you believe in Q too.

[–] 1 pt

"Skip science much bro" the irony in that comment is hilarious considering where youre tying it. You sound like a retarded plebbit faggot. Do you know what weight and density is in that context and that your own handlers admit gravity is still a theory?

[–] 0 pt

Please see my reply to @Native above

For what, like its supposed to clear up all this drama for everyone. All it shows is why youre wrong. Linking/quoting other people's recycled propaganda proves youre only as good as the histroy channel and the public school educational system. Have you ever seen an atom in person with your own eyes in real time? The same people who are literally enslaving the world, sick paedophile satanists that lie about everything are lying about everything EXCEPT this? Hypothetically living in an infinite universe gives us no meaning, simply a tiny spec who will never be seen or recognised by anyone so nothing matters you should live a life of regret and sin because remember this is all an accident goy. Rather than (((what all evidence points to))) us being all there is and humans having great meaning and purpose. And gravity is the easiest to disprove, prob why they themselves say its still a theory, but all of heliocentric science is based of of it, how do you base your whole ideology and beliefs system of a unproven theory? I live in australia (((was a beach kid, endless hours at the beach))) which in your mind is on the bottom of a spinning ball supposedly spinning over 1000mph, circling the sun at 666000mph and then shooting through space and over 1000000mph, how can gravity supposedly hold all of the billions of tonnes of water in the ocean from flying of the ball but at the same time not be strong enough to stop a slight breeze from blowing a plastic bag along the shore which is clearly unaffected by gravity, its strong enough to stop the water but not strong enough stop my cigarette smoke from rising when i spark up a durry on the shore? And on top of that all marine life that live in the water are unaffected by this invisible force to lol? How anyone believes this crap is hilarious

[–] 4 pts

This is so stupid yet I keep seeing it.

Flat Earth material is as heavily censored on the internet as WW2 revisionism.

Flat Earth accounts on YouTube are frequently banned and demonetized.

If you keyword search “flat earth proof” or really anything about flat earth you will be met with pages and pages of ANTI Flat Earth content.

Flat Earthers are frequently ridiculed by mainstream talking heads. Obama said “we don’t have time for a meeting of the Flat Earth Society.”

The “Flat Earth Society” is a controlled opposition group that espouses concepts that no actual flat earth content creators believe such as the idea that the earth rises to explain why objects fall or that the earth is a disc floating in space.

So is it the most inept psychological operation of all time, or do you need to just actually research it instead of making this baseless assertion that is mentioned literally every time the topic comes up by someone who thinks they’re positing an original idea?

[–] [deleted] 8 pts (edited )

I share your concern, it is impossible not to conclude a massive interest exists in destroying/removing that content. It cannot be denied by anyone who looks into it, not honestly anyway. regardless of the topic, it is being censored.... but why, it seems harmless even if incorrect.

I 'entertain' the notion, and let me tell you why, during my travels I had the 'opportunity' to serve in the US Navy and was lucky enough to be on a ship that took what we called 'a world tour'. I drove the ship PERSONALLY, for many hours, of many days for many months, we were 'at sea' with port visits for over a year. I stood with my two hands on the wheel and drove the ship, in 4-5 hour shifts, with the GPS map above my right shoulder, everything looked 100% legit to me from this angle, and ofc to everyone else. There was no talk of flat earth, in fact, I hadnt even heard about it.

For my trip around the world, I got one of these: Order Of Magellan (plaindealer-sun.com) and I did and do still think its pretty cool.

I will explain in relaxed detail, my experiences during that trip. I used the big-eyes from the bridgewings when not driving the ship, this is for port and starboard bridgewing 'lookout'. Our job on that post is to identify and report other vessels, planes, anything we see, along with their range and relative bearing to our ship. We stared at the horizon for hours. The bridgewings, stand approx 4-5 stories tall above the water, its very tall. No curve can be discerned and with the big eyes, you can see ships that are 15 miles away clearly. but whatever, I'm not that nitpicky, I was there, I could be wrong, but my memory tells me the observable lines... all flat, no dramatic curves, for miles and miles in every direction. Went up in helos, went up in planes.. no curve is seen. but whatever man... maybe im just wrong.

So then I get out and I find out about FE youtubers, I start picking on them, really gave em a hard time, trying to throw my journies in their face, finally having satisfied the "personally experienced" angle. I thought I was invincible, these filthy basement dwellers had nothing on your boy Popeye.

I sailed west, and I kept sailing west, until I was in the same city again, thats all I felt I needed to have adequate 'proof'.

Then one of them said it.....

If there was only one pole, in the center of a plane/disc/whatevershape, then you would be able to drive AROUND it and it would totally seem and feel to a magnetic compass navigator, like you went "around" but thats a circle around a point.

Put your chair in the center of your room, walk around it in circles, does this prove your floor is a globe? Of course it doesnt, I'm being facetious.

I have chosen, of my own accord, to keep an open mind about the subject. In fact, I'd be really interested to try and personally prove it again, in either direction (debunk or glorify). I dont even care who is correct, I really dont give a shit. I care about the finding out and certainty (as much as it can exist).

I've heard the same thing you did, that FES is a clown org to make it look like a full retard movement. I never went around that group anyway, I just talked to real folks. I showed another buddy the content about a year ago, while I am very much just pondering the ideas, he is now full on believer that the earth is flat. I did not mean to do that. I just wanted to share the ideas with him, and I changed him.

There is every chance in the world that its bullshit, but that door swings both ways.

If you think honestly about what you believe versus what you actually KNOW, really know.... thats where the party is.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

Man, they really roped you in, didn't they?

Lol they ban and censor it because it gives it legitimacy in the eyes of the believers.

Kind of an easy play there, you should of seen it coming.

[–] 0 pt

Since when are lies or false conspriacy theories censored on YouTube?

[–] 1 pt

Censorship is just mob mentality. Allowing a mob to control what you think, one way or the other, be it by supporting all their claims, or by always assuming the opposite, is a foolish way to go through life and a poor substitute for reason.

[–] 2 pts

It helps legitimize censorship in the minds of soft headed normies.

Normies are told censorship is the only way to stop disinformation, racism, holocaust denial, flat earth theory is a foil to help legitimize censorship in the minds if unthinking peons because nobody really cares if such obvious bullshitters cant get their message out.

Its an operation in practice and normalizes and justifies censorship of things that contradict the popular world view mass media allows you to hold.

Essentially they have the power to declare taboos and now to censor people breaking those taboos.

World is 100% not flat, people who say otherwise are glow niggers or absolute retards.

The simplest proof for heavenly bodies being round is in home/hobby telescoping,

Just look at the rings of saturn and you can tell what a flat plane in space looks like, if saturn were flat those rings would make sense because its rotation is canted from our perspective and if it were flat then the rings would be in a canted unstable orbit and couldn't for a regular plane let alone stabilize as rings..

And if flat earth suggests earth is the only flat heavenly body and that saturn is round, then by what force does earth not become alike to it's peers?

Flat earth is bullshit and can easily be disproved by home hobbyists, even just buying a drone one can fly it up high enough to see the earth curving away and not a broad flat plain.

The ancient Greeks knew the earth was round and even got a very close estimation of it's size by using sticks and shadows cast by the sun.

Just because something is censored doesn't mean it is valid, sometimes things are censored because they want more people to be diehard believers in bullshit.

Q got censored all over the place but it's a hoax, the point is to cement the disinfo campaign as valid in the minds of conspiracy tards who can't reason past two or three steps so that the disinfo lives and causes divisions forever.

[–] 0 pt

I would love to debate you about flat earth if Poal has such a feature, because it is very easy to dispel the very cliche and easily disprovable recycled, basic-bitch, low-hanging fruit that you’re trying to use against FE.

Looking at lights in the sky says nothing about where we live. If I look out my window and see an ice cream truck it doesn’t mean I live on an ice cream truck. You are asserting that these lights are “heavenly bodies” because you’re relying on ingrained belief in the Copernican Solar System model, which is based on Jewish mysticism, and which flat Earthers do not believe in.

You can’t see curvature with a drone. Neil Tyson himself said that you can’t even see it from 120,000 feet. His exact words were “that stuff is FLAT!”

Speaking of Black Science Man, he also admitted that Eratosthanes’ fabled experiment would have also worked on a flat earth with a local sun, because only two data points were taken. Flat Earthers obviously don’t believe in the ridiculous concept of a sun that’s 93,000,000 miles away and 865,000 miles wide.

This is actually why I eventually became a flat Earther. Because the arguments against it are so weak and the arguments for a spinning ball earth are nonexistent.

Anyway, if you also claim that men landed on the moon you’re not even qualified to have an opinion about flat earth. Yet you’re calling me retarded.

Two ships, sailing away, their masts vanish.

[–] 2 pts

Its flat and motionless. People with low IQs who have been conditioned can't figure it out. Its best to just ridicule them. Not worth the time of someone who is more intelligent to explain such things to a lesser brained human.

If they want to think they are spinning at 1000mph at this very moment, let them spin.

[–] 3 pts

Ridicule never convinces anyone of anything.

[–] 2 pts

Yes it did. And the goyim wearing masks everywhere you go is proof of it

I can see uniform cloud banks bend over the horizon.

[–] 0 pt (edited )

No you can't. You can look in the mirror and see a room temperature IQ bafoon staring back at you. Stick with the simple things and leave more difficult to understand things to the smart people.

Smart people understand this notion you speak of to be called a vanishing point. Since we are smart we dont assume we live on a spinning ball because the clouds dissapear. LOL.

WHAT A DUMB ASS.

[–] 2 pts

Can I ask you though, because no flat earther has ever given me a response that makes sense... Why would they need to lie to say the earth is round when it’s not? What benefit does it give them?

[–] 2 pts

There are many possible reasons. I’m not a flat-earther, by the way. But, I find it very interesting. So, one reason could be that the Earth is an infinite flat plane, and the elites don’t want us finding out that we can escape their control by leaving. Another is that globe-earth fits into a worldview system that reduces humanity to a random happening on a random rock flying through infinite nothingness with no destination or purpose (other ideas that flat-earthers would say are false - and a part of this worldview - would be things like abiogenesis, evolution, heliocentrism, and, for some, even atheism).

[–] 0 pt (edited )

That’s a fine question but you probably never get a straight answer because no one really knows. The closest thing I can get is that whomever rules over us really just wants us to believe false nonsense about everything, even where we live. I’m not particularly religious, I do believe in God, but much of what we are told goes directly against what the “Bible” or teachings of Christianity say. Even the wearing of face masks is an example of this as the Bible says man should not cover his face.

The simplest answer is that we live under some kind of Truman Show style simulation that’s even more sinister than that as it is a Satanic inversion of the natural world.

By telling us Earth is a precarious and insignificant speck floating in space, it removes any significance of humans from a Creationist perspective. It opens up the door for other Satanic inversions such as Darwinian evolution, etc.

If you stumble upon a murder scene, you don’t need to know what the motive was to know a crime has been committed. Flat Earthers are usually intellectually honest enough to say “I don’t know” to certain questions like that one of yours, though everyone has an opinion about it.

[–] 0 pt

But you’re not walking up on a murder scene, you’re claiming that a murder scene has been completely fabricated, and in order to think that, there must be a reason for someone to have done it.

I’m not saying that not knowing the reason why means that it isn’t happening, but I am saying that the reason you don’t know why is probably because, at the end of the day, it simply wouldn’t make sense for anyone to say the world was round if it wasn’t

[–] 4 pts

Back in the day the idea that the earth was spherical and was not the center of the universe would be called a conspiracy theory.

Hell people were ostracized for those very ideas.

[–] 1 pt

People all over the planet knew the earth was round thousands of years ago, the spanish and portuguese never thought it was flat, just smaller.

The greeks proved round earth with sticks in a desert casting shadows of different length and angle, the eastern world simply observed the earth curving away more drastically the higher up you go and the fact that the oceans don't drain off the edge. Heliocentrism was heresy because the church had a hard on for didactic control of thought and no basis for the alternative beyond the word of some post biblical era saint's musings.

[–] 3 pts

I actually think the psyop are the comments that say "dont look into X because it only exists to make you look crazy."

You see this a lot on conspiracy boards.

The fact is, you put all your trust into government organizations and believe everything without being able to verify any of it yourself. Its why you think you are spinning at 1,000mph this very moment. LOL.

You are the smartest and also the dumbest person in the room.

PS...I'm not a flat earther but I also dont believe the horse shit that comes from tax milking gov agencies.

[–] 2 pts

It's a tactic right out of 1984. It also lowers expectations of things like the 'public space program' if we were supposed to have landed on the moon in 1969 we should have easily hit the Stanley Kubrick 2001 Space Odyssey mark with Pan Am Flights to Orbital space stations and colonies on the Moon.

Instead we have Jew Spinsters like Owen Benjamin telling everyone the Earth is Flat while listening to his unfunny jokes and poor piano playing...

[–] 2 pts

Cant we settle this by sailing around antarctica? if its thousands of miles to make the trip, we are on the perimeter of a disc, if it is hundreds of miles, a globe

[–] 1 pt

Nearly correct: The _opposition_ to "Flat Earth" attracts borderline free-thinkers. Those who might have, one day, realised that the MSM is largely false and "conspiracies" are largely true.

Instead, they get drawn into opposing "Flat Earth", and never really think again.

[–] 1 pt

The sad thing is, there are white people who believe the Earth is flat, and that white Christian men never walked on the surface of the Moon. The ancient Greeks demonstrated that the Earth is a globe three thousand years ago. Only dummies every believed it was flat since then. Today, we have photographs and videos taken from space that show the Earth is a globe. How anyone can deny it is beyond comprehension, but I believe that some sincerely believe the Earth is flat -- or in the case of the self-proclaimed "genius" Owen Benjamin, a dome. It is an indication of how poor our public education has become under the Democrats and their policies.
