I'm paraphrasing Michael Shellenberger, author of "Apocalypse Never: Why Environmental Alarmism Hurts Us All" (goodreads.com).

He made an excellent point on Tucker's show last week. The climate change narrative encourages more government control. It gives opportunity for government money to be funneled into your crony friend's hands. Why would the political elite want to end that?

So they keep pushing wind and solar power which is a pipedream. If they were serious about climate change, they wouldn't be flying on private jets to summits. They would be building nuclear power plants.

Nuclear power is textbook globalist control. Any idiot can set up solar panels. Nuclear plants involve every level of government imaginable.
There's also the slight problem of waste storage requiring 10000 yrs of foresight.

" Any idiot can set up solar panels."

Uh-huh. And these solar panels, where do they come from?

Thorium. Look at it.

UK government - The rest of the world is bad for doing nothing about globo homo warmo.

Also the UK government - No more solar panel funding because free electricity is bad for energy suppliers.

Same thing happened in Florida. POS energy companies got it written into law that home solar energy producers couldn't sell the excess power they produced back. They even got it set up so that they actually get paid for any losses to their revenue from people not using as much electricity from them due to having solar systems.

Sort of my point exactly. The Mammon machine requires sacrifices.
