UK government - The rest of the world is bad for doing nothing about globo homo warmo.
Also the UK government - No more solar panel funding because free electricity is bad for energy suppliers.
Same thing happened in Florida. POS energy companies got it written into law that home solar energy producers couldn't sell the excess power they produced back. They even got it set up so that they actually get paid for any losses to their revenue from people not using as much electricity from them due to having solar systems.
The UK used to fund and pay for excess energy from domestic solar panels, but now they stopped it.
Given that solar panels pay themselves off in about 20 years, there's no reason why 1st world governments can't include them as a standard on all new houses other than corporate greed.
"...no reason..." Oh, but there is. And we're right back to those previously mentioned rice bowls again, aren't we.
