I never liked the stuff. Probably the worst mainstream hot sauce I've ever tried.
I never understood why people liked it so much. It's very much not my thing.
I like it. It goes really well with certain foods. Huy Fong must have sorted their shit out because I had some recently and it was better then it has been for years.
The tabsco brand siracha is pretty ok. Definitely more mild, less garlic and very slightly smokey.
Agreed. Tabasco and sriracha for different applications. I like the vinegary taste of Tabasco in soups, chili and gumbo. I like sriracha directly on pork chops and chicken and with rice dishes like jambalaya and paella where extra garlic flavor is welcome but wouldn't appreciate the vinegar taste so much.
