When I planted seeds and transplanted from seed trays to 4 inch pots, I had a few that didn't look like they would make it but instead of tossing them I put 4 in one big pot. That said, they didn't look like they would make it but they did. Can y'all identify these? I've narrowed it down to Carolina reaper or dragon breath as they are the only 2 red peppers I planted.

dragons - dollars to doughnuts.

That is one hot pepper! Yikes! I was not expecting that much heat.

Dragons 'unofficially' beat reapers by a margin - I think dragons topped at 2.6M SHU whilst reapers topped out at 2.2M SHU. trouble with dragons is that they're way more unpredictable and much less stable than reapers.

Wow. I don't have a good scale as far as gaging heat by taste so I couldn't say. But I can tell you it was hotter than the bad brains I posted a few weeks back and way hotter than the 7 pot chocolate from last week.

Thank you! I was thinking that but wasn't sure.

Yep, reapers have that signature scythe-like tail, which these guys do not.
