Alrighty - another bought-in sauce, of which I am not typically a fan, but this is from Ed Curry's line-up of featured Paper X sauces, and one that I have been wanting to try for some time; I believe this particular sauce has won an award for taste (unless I'm mistaken to which I aver, it should!). Wonderful sauce - great on many-a-thing: eggs for instance, I have even tried it in poutine and it worked very well (this will be killer in a gold curry or gumbo); this sauce has sparked a new recipe in my head that I will have to wait until next year to grow the stuff I will need to make it (mine will be reaper-based however). I would put this in aggregate heat at 800k - 900k SHU.

Ingredients:

Chile Peppers; Vinegar; Garlic; Salt; Onion; Onion Powder; Garlic Powder; Black Pepper; Italian Seasoning

@CTCZ mentioned 'mean green' sauce which is another Pepper X derivative, as is Gator Sauce (puckerbuttpeppercompany.com). Gator sauce was great on wings and in gumbo, but ultimately I like my reaper mash much better.

Thanks for posting! I'll have the wife order a bottle! I just checked my bottle and the "Extra Mean Green" I have states:

A smooth but intense Ghost Pepper blend, infuesed with the highest quality peppers...

Ahh I see that they updated this hot sauce. Here is the original that we purchased, made with a Ghost Pepper blend: https://puckerbuttpeppercompany.com/products/extra-mean-green-sauce

Here is the new one that has been updated to Pepper X: https://heatonist.com/products/puckerbutt-pepper-company-extra-mean-green
