I'd be genuinely curious to see what the load times for it are. Obviously there's a bottle neck at the disk drives, but I remember c64 taking an hour or more to load some games even after reading the drive.

It supports multiple types of disk images, so it has a burst/boost mode to read data at hundred times the original speed.

Appears to not be vaporware. $300 for the basic beige is what I would want.
