I love all these sd card interfaces, you can do crazy crap as you are not limited to 170.8kb.
edit: I used png2hires by fairlight to convert a sceengrab on PC on a real deal.

Can you provide more details on how you transferred the logo (in which format), and what did you do to display it on the C64?

Grabbed a png screencap of the logo, put on sdcard, moved to a c64 and ran through png2hires. moved card back and uploaded.
edit: it takes at least two minutes. hehe.
