I've worked alongside, under & over women in a slew of different work environments and can honestly say their efforts were equal to the men. Some were great and some were shitty....just like the men.
However, I did grow to specifically loath new female hires over 50. They'd constantly remind me of how they did things at a different employer, get uppity about the work load and a general attitude they'd rather be doing something else.
My theory was bitterness over the realization that a lifetime of poor decisions has them making starting pay in an entry level position under the supervision of someone half their age.
