How does Sirius have money for this? Nobody has used them in a decade

It's still in cars and a lot of people subscribe to it unwittingly.

I suspect most of this will be debt swap, however.

We bought a new car recently and they pushed it hard. It was very easy, “no.”

Maybe enough people sign up for the free trial and never turn it off…

Last car I bought in 2018 it was still optional. It surprised me at the time, but it wasn't even mentioned except in passing, and I turned down the functionality because it would have required a package upgrade that I didn't want or need.

There are literally millions of cars that have it free for 3 months, sales people are trained to leave it in Siriusxm to get owners on it then they never turn off.

And when they trade, they always say, we will transfer the account which they don’t, and after three months ends they just pay again.

Often idiots pay for Xm on cars they don’t own for a year+ as no one audits their bills. Ever.
