It was pretty good actually. The author's left one hell of a cliffhanger and then poof, 1,000 years in the future to a totally different story. Unless there's some flashbacks, that totally just kicked me in the stomach and makes me not want to continue with Duke of Caladan.

I've done the audio books for everything, I was really bummed out they jumped so far into the future in the storyline. Maybe they're going to do a small little insert to bump it along but I completely lost interest now. The Frank Herbert stuff was very spiritual whereas his sons is more action-packed. At least this is how I see it.
