I was able to get the latter two, and am waiting to obtain the first - I think the local library has it ready for me.

Has anyone ready the three of them? Do I need to read the first novel before starting on The Dark Forest? I've heard great things about it, so thats why I ask. I read the prologue and a bit into Chapter 1 and am hooked, but don't want to mess anything up or misunderstand anything that I would have gotten from starting at The Three Body Problem.

Yea I have read all three. They should be read in order in my opinion. The time scale of the first one is very short in comparison to the other two but I feel it’s important to know how the story starts.

Awesome - thanks!

I have to go pick it up, so I am trying to not pick back up The Dark Forest and keep reading, LOL! So far, it is fascinating.

Yea he made some really deep, thought out books.
