After Frank Herbert died one of his boys picked up the reins and wrote a couple of books continuing the Dune saga. And not for nothing so far I think it's better than what Frank wrote. I'm on Hunters of Dune.

They really took Frank's work and ran with it / milked it for all it's worth.
