It's scary how many of us have forgotten how to simply survive. This is a fun read so far and I recommend picking this up and have fun teaching it out to your kids; there's lots of cool activities you could practice together like the shelter-building in different environments and showing them how to make natural medicine out of acorns and tree bark!

Thanks, after you posted I was going to order as a gift for my grandson but they say "Extreme Wilderness Survival" is better.

But I like the 'coolness' of this one being a U.S. Army book.
