Why ruin the immersion in such a way?

Pebbles tumble and fall and bounce. Coins as well.

Fucking Skittles don't exist in the medieval ages.

A skittle is a pin from an English game called “Nine Pin,” an ancestor to bowling. The game may have originated as far back as the third or fourth century AD in Germany.

Had a skittles 'board game' as a kid. The long alley was maybe 3 or 4ft long and 1.5ft wide, had the pins and the little ball (memory fail) tops to wrap the string around and everything. Fun times.
