This is Andy Weir's (aurthor of The Martian) third book. His second book was really not great so I went into this quite skeptical. After bingeing the entire book in 2 days I am happy to report that this book if freaking awesome. Hard science meets fantastic future possibilities in a race against time. Without giving spoilers, Project Hail Mary manages to capture the same humor and newness as The Martian while giving you something familiar. Bonus because wokeness is almost nonexistent in this book and it manages to keep from shoehorning politics into what is a fun science based fiction. I imagine this story will be made into a movie so if your not a big reader just wait. Anyway rating is 4 out of 5 and I look forward to more books from this author.

I just finished the book last night, excellent book. I really enjoy the rapport and dialogue between Grace and Rocky, that was very enjoyable and made me laugh a few times. The presentation by the narrator was also excellently done with the incorporation of the keyboard speech. I've already restarted listening again. Very good recommendation.

Cool, thank you. I'll look this up as well.

If you like sci-fi war, I would highly suggest Old Man's War. I just finished the series recently and I really enjoyed it, the first book was great.
