Hi Everyone,

I finished the book today and I have to say that most of it I enjoyed. However, I felt like the end was underwhelming and I actually felt that the film did a better job in tying loose ends. Overall I enjoyed the book but it started to lose steam near the last 100 pages. Just too many spinning plates going on and hard to put finality to it all in a smooth manner. I like how they portrayed Avery Tollar (Played by Gene Hackman) in the book but I don't like how they had him die in the story. Overall cool book, if you like John then you will enjoy it, if you like legal thrillers you will also like it. For those who really don't want to read 500 pages that's okay, they have a free abridged version you can find on Youtube or you can just watch the movie.

Thanks for reading. I will be reading the next 3 books by Ward Kendall but they are taking forever and a day to get shipped to my house so I will probably re-read Camp of the Saints.
