To the Lighthouse,Virginia Woolf pdf (opentextbc.ca).
Sure I did a little time in Military Detention, the first two books I took from the barracks library were a biography of Reichmarshall Hermann Göring (i.postimg.cc) and a tome titled Races of Europe (i.postimg.cc) that had photos, the only thing that resembled a novel in any way was VW's To The Lighthouse .. it was awful, it was trash and it was 'orrible.
I read about two and a half pages and put it down, my psyche said reading must be better than counting bricks however bad the book was so I picked it up again, it was unreadable .. I skimmed thru a few more pages and as far as I could tell it got worse and down it went to stay, whoever declared her to be a readable writer was on a different wavelength than me.
Update: Checking the links at Google Images (google.com) there is a truly astonishing number of editions of this volume .. well then.
