I thought it read like a screenplay. Something you would see in an Alfred Hitchcock show or perhaps "The Twilight Zone". Good start and a great idea, but mediocre at best.

It's a middle school level book, for sure. I always thought it was weird the people in the beetle didn't run him over because he layed flat in the road. That still doesn't make sense? Maybe they thought it would roll or lose control?
I do want a mechanical hound to chase down my enemies, though.

The TV wall and the earbuds that kept everyone distracted definitely panned out accurately today. What Bradbury didn't anticipate is that people would be throwing books away voluntarily. They don't even need to be burned.
