At best, he's another lyrical intellectual that's dealing with his own demons by selling you the advice he needs.

At worst, he's another Esalen Institute intellectual, like an Alan Watts, here to gatekeep a generation from issuing the kind aggressive response that the powers don't want them to.

He states in no uncertain terms that he worked directly with the UN to redraft the agenda 21 papers, altering the language to appear less ideological. For anyone that's looked into the language that came out of this editing process, it's hardly less Marxist. The entire social philosophical undercurrent of the document is that the future sustainability of the world will require transnational social equity (the very 'equal outcome' terms that Jordan publicly rages against). Yet, these are the very proclamations that survived his editing cuts.

It's interesting to me how a Jungian personality psychologist from the University of Toronto, who ostensibly despises Leftist Marxism, winds up being recruited by the United Nations to draft an agenda for global initiatives. It doesn't quite add up does it? Or maybe it does.

Lastly, foregoing all of this, he still made millions and millions of $ selling a book to young men about how to live, and we find out he's been getting through by using benzos. There is something blackly comical about a man who sells a book called 12 Rules for Life, that has to visit Russia (hmmm) for a special drug detox program. When you do a little digging and understand the role Russia has played in a lot of the cultural upheaval in the West, that might make more sense.

Jordan: "Go clean your room, bucko. Caucasians identifying as white is BAD! That's a monster you don't want to wake up, buddy! You wake that monster up at your own peril!"

Me: "But Jordan, then doesn't that mean Israeli-Jewish nationalism and rabid ethnocentrism is also a bad thing!?"

Jordan: "You're a vile anti-semite, roughly speaking!"

I've read alot of personal dev books and they usually admit this. "Your mess is your message". So I won't hold that against him

I can't debate anything else you've said because its correct. I still think there's value in his message. I haven't heard anyone rail on the horrors of the Soviet Union as much as he has. He also bitches about people droning on about nazis. He's been the most bullet proof critic of gender disorders and feminization of the world. I give him massive props for that, and I'll continue to read his material within the proper context.

Does he go the next step? Nope.
Does he gatekeep info? Yep.

You're going to have to be your own hero here.

Good write up on Jordan. I think the fire was a good alternative - but I agree with your analysis.
