Mash Bill 8.25 lb Avengard Pilsen Malt 0.75 lb Cara Pils

Spent about 50% longer sparging because I was lazy and that's how fast it was draining.

2 oz 4 HBU hops (60 min) 1 oz Saaz hops (15 min)

Added 3 lb powdered and white sugar to up the gravity because that's what I need.

Boiled for 60 min but took a while to get there.

Safale US-05 American Ale dry yeast, a go-to.

OG: 1.062 FG: TBD (down to 1.009 possible but would be happy with 6.5% abv given the conditions)

Got a 3 gallon carboy of raspberry mead that's (probably) done fermenting and needs bottling - 11 months since I racked it into the primary. I'll prime it and put it in swing top bottles. Got another batch of blackberry mead that's 5 months into fermenting, and may be stuck. You have a copy of Papazian's "Complete Joy of Home brewing"? I use his Barkshack Ginger Mead recipe as my base.

I don't have that, but my go-to for odd brews is Speed Brewing

It was THE homebrew bible for a long time. May still be.

If I was you I would spill that down the drain and make a new batch without hops:

Recently, interest in hops was raised due to hop prenylated flavanones which show extraordinary estrogen activities.
