I agree, Red Delicious were my favorites when I was a kid. Pears used to be really good too. Now that they’ve altered them for more profit I don’t eat apples or pears anymore. They just don’t taste good and the texture is unappealing and dry. When I do eat fruit now, I prefer berries. Even melons aren’t as good anymore, but their decline isn’t as striking as the apples & pears.

Fuji fan too, but even those now seem different.
