I'm sure its ladies like this that resulted in the cage thats now around our special-items-for-self-care in our local store /s
When i first moved here the store was fine, but the homeless community has become very aggressive with the recent surge of fentanyl on the streets. And people have been offloading onto shores on the coast en masse lately. I don't want to leave the house lately. Not to brag but I'm a kinda cute lady with a cute little toddler, and I have this paranoia that if i'm walking along, a mysterious van is going to pull up beside us and nab us, and no one will ever here from us again. The cage they put in the store is not helping this feeling
my buddy is quite empathetic. He saw a homeless man who wanted to blaze up what he assumed was a simple joint. He offered the dude a lighter to keep in passing, and in return the homeless man offered him some fentanyl, to be polite. My buddy nearly shit his pants, because before then, fentanyl was just a headline on free-speech platforms. "well, I regret my actions immediately" bet he's not going to give lighters to anymore homeless people.
