We must look at the Japanese as true God fearing people. I realized and I'm spreading this to anyone reading that the Japanese Anime industry is full of believers who spread it in the art and not always just saying it but using lessons unlike american cartoons do. I was watching rezero season 2 episode 24 and I had tears and realized it was their belief they put in the show. They had magic and the witches were evil trying to force Subaru to choose one of their evil paths in life. Now that's not so evident to the average viewer. Now look at Subaru how he goes back over and over while Roswells mansion is ablaze around him. He knows in his heart that if the last door burns down the angry girl Beatrice who has been dealt a cruel hand in life. She is faithful in her duty and believes the lie that the witch Echidna told her that a man will come and tell her he's the one that was foretold to rescue her from this fate of watching over the library. Now Beatrice if a good person though she's to serious and takes that as it has to only be the way the witch told her it would happen. Now Subaru a total ass normally gets tossed out again and again through the doors since she is reminded that he is not her savior by his behavior. Now he finally uses his strength and stubbornness and gets in with the doors closed. He's already told her, he won't lie to her about it, he is not the one she was told was there just to take her out and his morality does not let him lie about that which I love about his character, he's an asshole and an attention whore but won't lie to her to get his way even to save her life he tells her honestly everything he feels and is. Well he's in and she's angry he's not the one to end her loneliness of being in that hell of a library for 400 years. When he opened the door the last time his hand was blistered and burned and he extends it telling her honestly he's her friend though she's used magic to toss his ass out dozens of times he still realizes her pain and loneliness and how he's been ineffectual in trying to entertain her with his silliness. He tells her though he's in love with Emelia the half elf he loves her also "as a friend" and wants to and will "to get her to live and leave the library is insinuated as his caring is so strong for the ones around him though he fails to show it most times his end actions prove it dying for them over and over". He tells her all of the good things she is and does but does not see herself like that. His words are all truths and he vows to play and laugh and hold her hand everyday till he dies if she chooses if she'd just leave since he tells her how it would hurt him if she died now". Subaru knows her soul is tormented and if she died now it would be bad so he tried to save her with words then actions he promises over and over to keep and he will. His words are so strong she cries and cries and cries feeling that someone loves her so much they'd let their hand get burned so badly and they'd stand in fire and tell her the good things about her that she does not see or may never have seen before. Now this is bringing me to tears watching his selflessness of standing in a burning building telling a girl that has faithfully protected the books for centuries he loves her and she must leave since she is so very important just existing. I'm crying like a little bitch watching her break down and realize she is loved, when she thought and felt alone for so long and this dumby is the one showing her she's wrong but not arrogant about it but with love and honesty and is willing to really back it all up. Though she's been mean and reactive letting her anger/frustration toss him out so many times he say it doesn't matter since she is so important to him and he holds nothing against her and will die with her if she doesn't leave the room and mansion. she lived a lie, and the one she thought was a stupid asshole is the one that really will get her to leave and won't take no for an answer. Now the churches act like it never happened many times. The arch angles "Satans boys" fell then had children that ended up as Hurcules and others of great size. Their kids were the ones we call Greek Gods. They did evil and good but they were large often over 8ft up to over 18ft tall and the skeletons in the world are there for all to see. Well the japanese though went and made a gruesome story. Attack on titan represents those children of Satan that could grow to giants when they needed or chose to. The titans of old did eat people and I was reading "can't remember where" that the american indians talk of great men that were "they think 13ft tall and there are many skeletons that size" that would be avoided. One legend the man was told was that a giant ran beside a herd of buffalo and reached down and grabbed it and ran with it under his arm and ripped off a leg while running and started to eat the leg with the buffalo still held firmly while he ran. Now attack on titan the first episode sent a shiver that was stranger than most horror films could give me up my spine. The giants broke the 100ft tall wall "castle like" that had kept the Titans out for 300years and titans rushed in mindlessly and the main character was running to find his mother. She is found but under the wreckage of their home that fell and her legs were trapped and broken. A titan came and then reached down pulled her without effort legs dangling from the wreckage. He then lifted and bit her in half swallowing her upper body while holding her legs hips like the other half of a hotdog or other food you hold with one hand. The show is scary but how many americans knew that the fallen angels were the titans or were that brutal also. Or that they were the ones the people back then thought were god or even like me believe the books and stories since I was to lazy to investigate at all.
