I saw this anime a 4:3 old 90 crt sized format on a few top100 lists of anime and stupidly made a huge assumption is was just werewolves and thought stupid and never watched it. It in fact I'm only on 5 now is wolves are supposed to be extinct but they somehow use illusion to appear human in form. I just realized the anime is an analogy at least this episode of how we are the wolves and how the world breaks our spirit and we end up like working dogs. The graphic are like early 90's with a hand drawn look but not terrible like late night on cartoon network where you're thinking spend the cash on good software and quit smoking so much weed. The story seems stupid till it goes a few episodes then you realize it's not but just growing and filling with time and then the imagery of the writer becomes clearer and clearer with not the original thought you had but morphing into something more complex and less like a childrens cartoon and moving toward a more novel like approach yet still not enough to bore the viewer. I recommend just to see what you think. There are no at this time colorful scenes of bright colorful artwork like K but instead a sullen colors that convey the emotions of the characters and the world they live in with fear sadness anger and loss as part of their daily lives. I am entertained enough to keep watching without encouragement to see what else this story leads to in it's progression so I am watching this till the author loses my attention or the ability to focus on it requires more effort than the enjoyment I receive.
