Did he really say this? If that's the case, he's more aware than I thought. What did he really think would happen when he created those movies? It's not really the fault of the industry, it's the fault of audience. It really sucks that he feels like this, but in some ways, he should have known better.

While, I can't confrm this particular quote, it seems he has said similar things in the past:

Miya: It's difficult. They immediately become the subjects of rorikon gokko (play toy for Lolita Complex guys).
