The reason why Cuba is in the shithole state it is in is because the US financed Castro & friends to overthrow Batista. And then when Castro wins he declares himself a communist and invites in the Soviets. The leftist media leaves that part out because they want to make it sound like the US is just evil against the poor Cubans. So the US embargoed the commie fuck and left the island to rot, which the US will continue to allow until the Cuban people have had enough and overthrow it.
Barbara Walters used to interview Castro all the time and spoke highly of the man while he treats his people like shit.

It's not that I am against the idea, but I want to see the US exit out of NATO and drawdown to zero troops in the middle east wholesale first. Venezuela can feed US oil needs for the several hundred years, in addition to "Drill, baby, drill". I would rather see a vassal state set up there vs Cuba which at first just gets the US more welfare mouths to feed. Redevelopment would take decades. We tried a similar stunt in the early 1930s in Haiti. We built those worthless niggers everything they could ever need to run their own country and look at it now.
