What fucking moron thought this would have any impact other than people ignoring the "dead air" time like they would if they were forced to see an ad anyway?

I missed an update and was being lazy about applying it...then I started getting political ads, which were/are all for their preferred candidate(s). I've since installed that update.

They have been doing this for at least 3 months. I updated my ad-block extension and that behavior is gone. No more waiting time.

I haven't seen this yet, but my ublock lists are pretty aggressive. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
