This might be a good place to ask this question. I use a kindle running the silk browser. I have a tab open for my YT subscriptions that I refresh and review for new vids I want to watch. If I click on them, I get video with commercials. If I instead open the video link in a new tab I get no commercials! If I immediately replay the video after watching it in a new tab, I get commercials.
Has anyone else noticed this "feature"? I've been doing this for years, commercial free.

Sounds like th embed link. You could also use invidious, replace YouTube.com with yetu.be in any YouTube url, it will play commercial free through an Invidious instance.
