A few minutes ago, I noticed that when clicking on a youtube video, it showed the "Dislike" button, then a split second where it showed a number, then showed NAN (Not a Number in geek speak). I still had the "Return Youtube Dislike" extension enabled from about 6 months ago. This is on Firefox in Linux. So I tried it on my phone (didn't work) and in Opera which didn't work (no extension). So in the spirit of further testing I disabled the old extension, and it just showed "Dislike". Clicking through the menus, I couldn't find the thing that managed extensions, so I just googled for it again. I installed the version I found at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/return-youtube-dislikes/and it seems to work as it's supposed to.

The "dislike" buttons were removed for only one reason -- real people, the general population using the sites -- disagrees with the liberal narrative that is being forced down our throats every day.

If you have to go through all that computer gymnastics you can be sure the leverage of the dislike button is lost. It used to be revealing. Sad

It never stopped working for me. Some videos do say "disabled by creator" or whatever instead of having it though.
