What a "feature"!

over the past few months they've made it pretty much useless on mobile. TONS more ads, weird pauses for no reason, and then more ads! It's like they want us to avoid their dumb 'service' altogether!

NewPipe on F-Droid. It's basically YouTube's mobile app, when it used to be good; but with adblocking, video downloading, background (screen-off) playback for music/whatever, and custom plugins for added functionality. Get it.
