also, humans didnt "evolve" there was different species at the same time. much like there is different races today. the other guys eventually died out, but that doesn't mean they interbreed, much like dogs
one "newer" example is the paracas (elongated skulls) they are physically different in the way the skull is formed, and positioned with longer necks etc. They ended up interbreeding with the "normal" skulled people of Peru and eventually died out. This is where head binding comes from.
he doesnt explain that a normal skull is split than as the child grows they fuse togeter forming lines. elongated skulls do not have this is all one piece.
