What happened to starter homes?
Today's housing market is incredibly pricey, and some can't afford to move into another home, even a smaller one.
This makes little sense. The resale of their current home should be enough to finance a smaller home, unless they are moving to a more expensive neighborhood. Older people are no longer needed a good school system, they should have much more flexibility in the market.
