There is no way in hell any of the teachers at my children's school are putting in 70h weeks.

I find the teachers, by and large are trying to do the right thing but are having a hard time adjusting to the fact that their jobs are not super cushy walks in the park anymore. They are getting a taste of 'real life' and don't like it.

Teacher's unions are proving to be only interested in reducing teacher effort and raising teacher comfort at the expense of the students and the quality of the education they receive.

As if teachers are the only people working 60-70hours per week.

Exactly what I was going to say. I worked 60-80 hours for years and years. Like 20 years. Waaa, waaa, waaaa.

She most definitely gets 2+ months off.

The entitled leading the entitled. I'm not going to say I dislike teachers because I've had some good ones in my day. But I also want my taxes back

Good teachers are extremely rare. If counties would lower property taxes, we would not be spending so much on underperforming teachers.
