I agree I see lots of little emotional support dogs in airports
This has been a problem forever. Someone fuckhead wants "special privileges" so the register their dog/cat/goose as a "emotional support animal" which gives them "service animal" status meaning that they cannot be barred from business or other public spaces.
The last one I ran into was a fag (yes, he was actually gay) that adopted a dog and wanted to be able to bring it to work in a very dangerous workspace that would have been unsafe for the dog and other people in the area. The lawyers were able to prove that the animal was not infact a "service animal" which mad that little fuck furious. He threatened to quit over it. Everyone told him to let the door hit him on the way out. He was obviously not well liked and was a drama queen.

From the post:
>Service dogs should be allowed to be trained in public in Wyoming, but that privilege shouldn’t extend to “emotional support” pets, legislators said Wednesday. Senate File 147 would apply only to training for dogs working toward becoming certified service animals, said Sen. Lynn Hutchings, R-Cheyenne, who is sponsoring the bill. “Not the little fluffy dog that you put on your lap, and you say they are the comfort dog or your emotional support dog,” she told fellow members of the Wyoming Senate Labor, Health and Social Services Committee.
